I had a problem with my Samsung (I couldn't hang up after a call was completed) and I was able to fix it with the 9.705 update. That should solve your problem once it's available to all.

Wasn't this due out in January? Someone at Harmon Becker (the maker of the radio) said they would mail me a CD in January, but they never got back to me...

Also, at the Minneapolis Auto Show, they had a MyGIG test area to use the functionality of the system. The system had version 9.653! So, if they can put this update in one at the auto show, why can't they put it in the public cars?!?

Which Samsung did you have, Serbonze? We had the Alltel Hue (made by Samsung,) but we had to settle with the KRZR K1m, and this isn't even on the list of compatible phones! (It works fine!)

I have the A707 Sync. It wasn't listed as a compatible phone either, but it did work from day one without the MyGig update. Again, the only issue was that I couldn't disconnect after the call had ended. Now everything works fine.

Where did you get the version 9.705? The newest one that I can find is 9.561.

Someone posted it on another forum and I downloaded it and burned it to a CD. I posted on this forum a few weeks ago that I had it and would send it to anyone that PM'd me. Someone did so I put it in the mail and sent it to him. If you do a Google search you should be able to find it, as it has been passed around quite a bit.

The update is easy, you just put in the CD and follow the instructions. It took about fifteen minutes.

9.705 was a beta version that came out last month. 9.712 is the latest version that came out late last week. However, it appears that 9.712 will still remain a beta release as there are some issues with it being compatible with Starscan. A lot of people have installed 9.712 with no issues at all reported, it fixes a lot of bugs that were in 9.705.

My late February build 2008 WK came with V 9.665 Software. This version has Automatic Nag screen time out and worked flawlessly with iPhone. Interestingly the Grace Note V was 5 something (556?) and required an update to V 881.
The 9.561 software is available with a hack to enable video in motion for thos wishing to update to V 9.561

I have not heard of an in-motion software hack for MyGIG, only the external plug and play "Lockpick" module...

I installed it this evening, took a drive, and didn't notice any issues. Honestly, I didn't notice any changes either.
