Is my WK badged wrong?

I bought an 08 WK Laredo about a month ago and I'm starting to think its either badged wrong or extremely highly optioned for a Laredo.

Here's what we got.
4.7 with quadradrive
leather with the fronts heated
sun roof
boston premium audio: touch screen am/fm/cd/sat/dvd
back up camera
17" alloys

I'm sure there is other things I don't even know about. I'm used to cj's and tj's, so it might just be that I don't know what a nice comfortable vehicle is all about. Is there a way to tell the trim level other than the badging?

In 08 laredos could get more options than previous 3 years I think. The motor and qdII is all that really matters. If you have the black plastic trim on the side of your doors rather than the chrome molding, I'd say it's a Laredo. That's the way I can always tell. But I've seen other laredos with all/more than you mentioned. You could even get the hemi and diesel in Laredo.

Laredos also came with a paint matching grill rather than a chrome grill. And if you want to be 100% sure, search build sheet on this site and you'll find a website you can type your VIN into and it'll tell you the trim and every option your jeep came with. I didn't even know I had rain sensing wipers and automatic high beams till I did that

Hard to tell. I've got a '10 Laredo with matching grill, but factory chrome door moldings.

In 2008 there was a trim level called "Laredo X." It had leatherette seats and boston 6 disc. Sunroof, backup camera and nav was an option. I only got the sunroof with mine. It was available witha v6 also. We drove an identical modernblue laredo x with a v6 before whe bought ours.

I didn't realize all that could be had in a Laredo. I kinda figured once certain options were added it would bump you up to the next trim level.

When I was shopping i was looking at the limited because i wanted the v8 and leather seats. I found the limiteds were not what we wanted due to the chrome trim, light colored leather on the steering wheel and seats. The leather on the wheel and seat bolsters were already worn and tattered in 2009 on 2007 wk's. Then we found the laredo x with dark grey leather wheel, grey and dark grey seats with dark grey carpet. The dark grey is almost black. Essy to clean and wearing pretty well after 5 years and 50,000 miles. Ive got a few little cracks on my divers seat lower bolster but other than that it looks great inside.

My 2005 Laredo is a 4.7 w/ adjustable pedals, navigation, leather power heated seats - really loaded. Build sheet shows Laredo as well. I added chrome door cladding cause I'm cool like that.

It is part of the "Laredo X" package of options; nothing to worry about. I have the same with 4.7L V8 with most, but not all of the options offered.

I was told when I went from an '08 to a '10 that all models were getting the chrome door moldings.
