My "I should have bought a FJ Cruiser" build

Just kidding they don't have nearly enough room in the back seat for my 15 month old.

So on to the build.

It is going to start off slow then in month and a half it will ramp up.

2008 GC Laredo
3.7L V6
QTI
Greystone (I know it looks silver in the pics)

Stock

Current

Current mods:

Suspension:
Moab Wheels painted black
1/4" wheel spacers
255/75/17 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's
RC Budget Boost Lift

Exterior:
"Jeep" emblems painted black
Removed front lower air dam

Lighting:
Custom HID projector retrofit

Mods I am currently working on:
1.5" Rough Country Spacers (just came in the mail today)
Painting my stock 6 spoke wheels satin black (using real automotive paint)

Future mods (waiting on my bonus)
OME Lift with .25 spacer
285/70/17 Goodyear Dura-trac tires

Some sort of rear locker (haven't made my mind up yet between ARB, Lunchbox style or maybe just a limited slip)

Aux lighting

Skid plates

Custom front bumper

Custom rear bumper with tire carrier

Thinking about how I can add the NV245 transfer case more on this later.

Here are the RC spacers and a pic of the wheels I am getting ready to paint. I am going to try to get the spacers on when my son takes his afternoon nap.

Hey do you like the way the black wheels look on the greystone paint? I can't really see in the picture (looks silver). Thanks!

I prefer the stance of 1.5" wheel adapters all the way around to the .25" - Looks good.

I love the black wheels on the greystone paint! I painted them using Dupli-color satin black wheel paint but they came out pretty flat. I have some automotive hotrod satin black paint coming today so I can repaint them this weekend.

I like the stance with the 1.5" spacers too. I was surprised how much it made it handle better.

Looks badass man! I finally got around to starting on the paint on my Moabs and didn't like the satin from Duplicolor. I ended up with a semi-gloss, just gotta finish up the job and get all 5 painted.

Nice wheels not my cup of tea but if your happy that's all that matters.

Yup it is just a RC spacer lift. Sometimes it looks huge sometimes it doesn't.
