Mopar Floor Mats

Hi All,

I just installed my Mopar Jeep Commander Floor Mats and my question is this:

Should I remove the factory floor mats or just put the Mopar floor mats over the existing factory mats.

I realize this is probably a personal preference, but I was wondering if there are advantages and disadvantages either way and will putting the mopar floor mats over the factory floor mats ruin the factory floor mats?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know for sure but in most cases you remove the existing mats.

I removed my black carpet mats and installed the slate gray Mopar Slush Mats. I love them. I removed the carpet ones because they were the exact same size, so I didn't see the sense in keeping them in. Also, the grippy feet on the underside of the new mats cling to the carpet better than the factory mats. I love the look, and those mats catch everything from rocks to rain!
