MLL measurement help
So my rough country 2" lift is installed. My measurements are as follows.
Center of wheel to fender
Front 22"
Rear 21"

I've searched a lot of posts on the monroe load leveler shocks. Some guys are using the OEM ones (#58646) and others are using the longer F150 version (#58643). Both are about $95 on amazon.

The problem I've found in my research is that there is a discrepancy in the amount of lift people are getting from each of these. I don't know if I'm just finding isolated incidents, or if people aren't measuring exactly the same. My question is how much lift can I expect from the OEM MLL's vs the longer MLLs. Some people are getting 1.5" from the longer ones, others are only getting 1". On the OEM ones some guys are only getting .5" while others are getting 1". I do not want a rake, I just want it to be raised 1" in the rear, which makes me lean toward OEM. Sorry for beating the MLL dead horse, just wanted to see if there was a consensus on the issue.

Here is a pic. Its on a slope but you can see what it looks like after the RC lift was installed.

It depends on what people carry in the back. I have a roof rack, spare tire up top, and subs in the back so I have about 190 lbs sitting on top of my F-150 MLL's and I measure 22.25 hub to fender

Good lookin' WK. I went with the longer MLLs with my RC. Currently got my rig jacked up working on it, but here's a picture of it...hope it helps!

The OEM ones will give you .75" max. Your WK is lifted, get the longer ones. As you said, people report different numbers. If you get the longer ones and you have too much rake for your taste, add a strut spacer.

I used the f150 model mll's, since everything has settled I have gained about 1.25" from them. I would personally go with the f150's since I do not believe that the WK models would gain you much difference, the rake isn't has hard as stock but it raises it enough so it doesn't appear to be saggy in the rear.

Well I think I will spring for the f150 version and see how they work. I just jacked up the rear .75" then 1.5" to see how they both would look. At 1.5" higher in the rear, the front actually is lowered by about 3/8th of an inch. Guess its the shift in weight. Ill order them and post new pics. Worst case scenario I add a front strut spacer or exchange them for oem ones. Thanks for the help.
