265s will fit your lift w/ or w/o spacers.

My WK has an OME HD lift with rusty's spacers up front and homebrewed spacers in the back. Somewhat of a "modified OME." Although, truthfully I'm not so sure I didn't just bump my lift back to original measurements before any spring settling.

I got some pics sent to me of the waterhole I was mentioning that left the waterline in the rear coming out:

Looks like a fun trip! At first looking at the pics I was like "Oh those trails look eeeasy". Then I saw your Jeep flexed out on some stuff. I'm now thinking those pictures don't do the trail justice. Looks fun either way

My experience is the pics never do the trails justice.

They certainly aren't the most difficult rated trails in the park - but it was good to get the red Jeep out and push it a little.

Yesterday I put this in the crankcase, gas tank, and sucked the rest up the brake booster vacuum line:

Today the red Jeep is getting fresh oil, rotation, etc. and new gear oil in the rear diff.

Fuuuun stuff Happy Friday

About 3.5 hrs (just under 200 miles) from the west side of the state. Blue Springs is 15-20 minutes to the east of KCMO.

The St. Louis side is a little closer than me.

We should try to put together a wheelin trip to SMORR sometime.

Mike, did you wheel ks rocks at all for the memorial day event? I really wanted to go however I stayed busy today, then I'm forced to work the next two days. Looks like a night run is coming up on the 22nd then in July on the 20th is the 10 year park anniversary event. Hope to see you on the trails soon.

^^^ Sounds good AJ!

So yesterday I got everything but the tires rotated.
Ran into a couple snags.

Once I pulled the front skid plate I realized I had some cleaning to do and then investigating. The diff end of my front drive shaft has been slingin grease:

I've been doing some searching and reading and calling and I still haven't come up with a solid answer on what my options are with regards to servicing/replacing the cv joints at both ends of the shaft.

Parts dept at a local dealer tells me the entire shaft has to be replaced. I've found kits to replace the t-case end cv but not the diff side -

I also noticed that my belly skid took one helluva hit a few weeks back when the red Jeep got to play:

That bent the front mounting flange to the point I couldn't line the mounting bolts up with the holes after removing the front skid. So - I had to pull the belly skid and beat the piss out of it to bend it back in order to mount it back up.

For now the front skid will sit at the ready:

...and I will likely have to pull the belly skid, again, along with the t-case skid and cross member in order to pull the front drive shaft to see what is going on. I know the t-case end cv has a rip in the boot but I can't see what's up with the diff end.

Anybody with some insight or previous experience feel free to chime in.

Great build! Just finished reading your entire thread and I'm impressed. I just picked up an 05 Limited and ordered my OME HD, so I've been waist deep in Jeep Forums for about a week... Love your jeep, looks like I want mine, so I'll be checking it out again once my lift comes in!

I actually lived in Manhattan, KS for a few years at the end of my army career so I appreciated the pics of your trips out there. Great town and beautiful country!

One quick question when you get a free minute or two- after running the Goodyears for so long, how do like them now? I'm going to need some new meat after I lift mine and I'm looking at my options. Once again, awesome Jeep!

Lyn

Prior: 2005 Limited - SOLD. Now: 2010 Limited, Hemi, bone stock...for now!

Been on vacation with the family so I haven't been on the forums until a couple drive by posts yesterday.

Had an amazing trip in Florida:

Ft. Lauderdale; South Beach Miami; Naples; Cape Coral; Estero Island; Ft. Myers Beach; Lover's Key; Sanibel; Bowman's Beach; Captiva; Captiva Beach; Cabbage Key; Cayo Costa......................I'd post pics but it seems the pic posting aspect of this site has gone to crap lately.

You folks living down that way are lucky S.O.B.s

Aggieville is fun and Tuttle Creek is a great place to wheel.

The GY Authorities have stood the test so far and I really cannot complain about them.
