Making your own sliders

Anyone done this?
My wife has decided to lift her Commander. We have decided to go with the Old Man Emo lift.
She also wants sliders, man those are exspensive!
I have a welder and know how to use it.
Pictures would help!
Oh and it is a 06 Commander with the 4.7L engine.

Just look at peoples pictures of their sliders and recreate. As long as you don't sell them for money no lawsuit for copying, I think.

My buddy has a welder and wants to try and tackle this project. I told him we should model them after the Steel Armadillo sliders because I like the look of them. I'm sure we won't do it for a while to come though, he's very busy.

Been looking at it.
Pretty sure I can make something work.
I will do a write up if/when I do it.
Again if anyone has already made some post up!
