Magnaflow exhaust question

So my buddy told me to pick up a Magnaflow 14" resonator to replace the stock one on my 05 WK. I took it to the muffler shop today and the guy said replacing the stock resonator wouldn't do much. So instead he replaced the muffler with the 14" magnaflow and left the stock resonator.

I like the way the jeep sounds now, a bit loud but I can deal with it. What I'm wondering is if this setup will have any negative effects on performance? Any modifications I should make?

It seems to drive about the same as before but I just wanted to check. Thanks for your time.

I purchased a Magnaflow muffler a few months ago. I got it from a vendor on here. I am pretty happy with mine. It added a little bit of tone but didn't make it sound too excessive; which is exactly what I wanted.

I haven't had any negative effects on performance or anything like that.

Ok cool thanks for the input! Just wasn't sure if I needed to retune it or anything like that.
