This is as fat as we it today (left and right side).
My brother ran the new+old springs and shocks over to Mavis tire to get the new stuff put on the old housing. But I think they won't be done until Monday :/ Apparently they're too busy to spend 15 minutes on them.
Probably going to do the rear end tm when I get home from work.
I had STS ensemble the front spring/strut but won't get it back until tomorrow. So after work, I just painted my front calipers red because we only have 2 jack stands and my bro said (since the front I disassemble and on jacks) we need the front low to be able to squeeze to back springs out. And since we're waiting on STS to put the new ones in, we'll just have to wait.
I'm pretty sure I tapped off all the right spots, anyone else paint their calipers???
There are other guys on here with the same set up i will soon have. Like AJeepZJ who has a 3.7 with the OME HD and armor.
She won't be winning any races, but its a Jeep. Anyone else see it being a problem?
It's not a problem. My buddies give me **** because my jeep is slow (used to have a BMW 335i and a Yamaha R1). I'm used to going fast but fast doesn't work off-road. I get around just fine around town and can go places off-road my buddies trucks can't quite get to.
Looking good. I suggest taking the mudflaps off and the front air damn and painting the center caps black too If you're using plastidip you can peel it off in about 3 seconds if you dont like it.
The mudflaps will probably come off soon. I just wanted to save some paint during the trip upstate. and i think i like the look of the hub cap grey, the lug nuts match it. My air damn was screwed on by the used car dealer because the previous owner made a boo boo and f'd it up. So i haven't even tried to unscrew the screws on each side. If its going to leave two holes in the metal, ill just end up trimming it or something.
