Had to take a break while it poured this morning.

This is as fat as we it today (left and right side).

My brother ran the new+old springs and shocks over to Mavis tire to get the new stuff put on the old housing. But I think they won't be done until Monday :/ Apparently they're too busy to spend 15 minutes on them.
Probably going to do the rear end tm when I get home from work.

Right on bud! You planning on taking care of the pinch weld while you're in there?

Honestly I wasn't planning on it until you reminded me. If I want 265/70/17 on with the 1.5 spacers, I'll still need to do the pinch weld?

Update:

I had STS ensemble the front spring/strut but won't get it back until tomorrow. So after work, I just painted my front calipers red because we only have 2 jack stands and my bro said (since the front I disassemble and on jacks) we need the front low to be able to squeeze to back springs out. And since we're waiting on STS to put the new ones in, we'll just have to wait.

I'm pretty sure I tapped off all the right spots, anyone else paint their calipers???

It's not a problem. My buddies give me **** because my jeep is slow (used to have a BMW 335i and a Yamaha R1). I'm used to going fast but fast doesn't work off-road. I get around just fine around town and can go places off-road my buddies trucks can't quite get to.

I painted mine as well but I also painted the bar right in front of the caliper and the back of the pad because I was too lazy to tape that part off.

Yeah, I actually went back and finished that today. I saw other jeeps did that bar. Looks better now.

Final product...

OME HD with Hankook Dynapros 265/70/17, 1.5" RC spacers and plasti-dipped ome wheels.

Absolutely love the new look, the rides not bad either!

Looking good. I suggest taking the mudflaps off and the front air damn and painting the center caps black too If you're using plastidip you can peel it off in about 3 seconds if you dont like it.

The mudflaps will probably come off soon. I just wanted to save some paint during the trip upstate. and i think i like the look of the hub cap grey, the lug nuts match it. My air damn was screwed on by the used car dealer because the previous owner made a boo boo and f'd it up. So i haven't even tried to unscrew the screws on each side. If its going to leave two holes in the metal, ill just end up trimming it or something.
