LSD for 2005 4.7L WK (limited)

Hi

I got a 4.7L limited (auto)

its 2wd with open diffs..

I am looking forward adding an LSD to the rear.

anybody knows what type / model is the rear differential?

Chrysler 8.25, dana..etc?

I read that its 3.73 gear ratio
I just need to know which diff its in order to shop for it.

thanks

yep I saw that. but the only info it provides there is the gear ratio and the ring diameter.

The 8.3" ring gear indicates a Chrysler 8.25 axle.

D44 is only on the SRT models.

That is the gear ratio, not the size (diameter) of the ring gear. Gear ratio is a function of the number of teeth on the pinion gear and on the ring gear.... The ring gear diameter doesn't change.

The 3.73 gear ratio is pretty standard for most WKs.
