Looking for tire reco's please

Hi All -

I am looking to replace my OEM tires on my 2013 WK. P265/60 R18 is my size. Looking for recommendations and willing to spend up to $210 per tire.

I do mainly highway driving. However, I live in the northeast and need tires that can handle snow. Furthermore, I do a decent amount of hiking and exploring. So I need to drive down roads that are muddy, sandy and rocky (not maintained) often in the middle of nowhere. With that said, I don't do any serious 4-wheeling. I just don't want to be stuck somewhere.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I had the BFG AT on my 99 Wrangler and I loved them. Couldn't find them in my current 2013 WK size.

Cooper Discoverer AT3. Good all terrain tire with a long tread wear.

I realize I'm new here but I encourage you to check out the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2's. $180 each at Tire Rack so at the high end of your range once they're mounted. Best do-everything SUV tire I've ever seen. I too do a lot of highway (towing my 6x10 covered motorcycle trailer to race tracks) but also hit the mountains to ski and to hike. The Revo's are phenomenal in all conditions and are quiet for an aggressive tread tire.

The hankook dynapro atm would be a great all around tire for your needs. The cooper at3 is nice too. You do not need a mud tire. They suck on ice.

I realize this is somewhat irrelevant to the thread topic, and I agree all tires that have been mentioned are good tires.

But a 2013 WK?

My bad on the 2-letter code. My brother in-law's was a WK. Since I was out of the Jeep "family" for 10 years, I didn't keep up with the codes. My apologies. I have 2013 Grand Cherokee Limited...layman's terms.

Right, WK2 then.

The rest of us pretty much just let it go and didn't worry about it. Especially since the stock tire size for 18" wheels on a WK is 245/60-18.

Not worried about it - just brought it up to maybe clear up any confusion about model or tire size which can effect fitment and availability. OP mentioned 265/60/18s on a 2013 Jeep Grand.

I ordered the Cooper's. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm very happy to be back in a Jeep.

After my Jeep history ('89 XJ Wagoneer Limited, '93 XJ base model manual trans, '99 TJ), I then went with a 4Runner (10 years, 210k miles). Flame away, but I'm not gonna lie. That was a solid vehicle. However, I was far more impressed with the WK2 than the 5th Gen 4Runner.

I know what he said and I suppose it should have been cleared up earlier since there really are a lot of idiots that come on this forum asking questions (Not talking about you.) Either way, he got some good input and I'm sure he'll be happy with those tires.

To the OP, for what it's worth, I am running Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my Jeep as it's one of two tires that I can fit without lift/trimming that actually have tread on them. I wanted the Cooper AT3's something fierce but didn't want to go with the 265/60-18 and have any chance of rubbing or having to modify for spare fitment.

Yeah, so I guess I'm not going to get a true full/exact sized spare to fit. Hmm...I'm going to have to be creative. I'm getting an off-road pass for a beach that requires exact spare tire size.
