Looking for CRD trans pan with drain.

I have been searching for a trans pan with a drain in it for my 07 CRD. I saw a link here somewhere and after searching extensively have had no luck at all. What are the options for drains and deep capacity pans?

Why not just buy an aftermarket drain plug? Drill hole, install plug, done.

That is definitely an option and I am a very experienced TIG welder. My interest is more in a larger capacity(6+ quarts) one was MB I believe.

I ran a PML pan on my Liberty CRD for the last 5 years - 2.5 quarts over stock and has a drain plug.

just FYI

The trans pan is not where you want the trans temp guage. It is just convenient, but not the correct place. The correct place is to put the temp sensor in the hot line. You can use some plumbing parts from lowes ot home depot to T-Tap it in the hot line.

ALSO.. a deep dish pan is unless if you do not install the drop down for trans-oil the pick up. So make sure you also get the pick-up adapter.

Thanx for all the helpful replies. Does anyone have details on the longer pick up tube that was mentioned? Or would the supplier be better to ask this question?

I have bought several B&M deep pans over the years, they all came with the extension tube. It says the extension tube is included.
