I would put the tube on the top out side/right of the trailer ... not on my jeep roof if possible?

For the Rack if you are going to keep the jeep, the gobi is a no brainer. I tried the yakima and the Rola .. both are complete junk in my opion. the yakima doesn't have the foot print for weight and bends, and the rola rusted all over my GC even after putting all the black goop in the slides. That rola was complete junk (in my HO) everything rusted in 2 months, screws, everything.

Just some thoughts...

I've seen all in person, and frankly, you should go with the Gobi if you're going to use it more than once.

Garvin also makes some quality stuff. But they don't have anything specific to the WK. They do make some XJ racks, 60" or 72" rain gutter mount. They also have several general purpose racks that may work depending upon how you're going to mount it. Maybe worth a look as they are quality and cheaper than Gobi. Perhaps give them a call. One of the "Track Series" may work on the WK:
