LED light bar install with a twist.

I bought one of these from another auction for about $250 shipped (had to remove my factory tow hooks to install it): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-Gr...d8503a&vxp=mtr

and mounted it without the side hoops.

Bought one of these from another auction for about $140 shipped: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-LIGHT-BA...62617e&vxp=mtr

and bought one of these 12v remote control relay kits: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1CH-WAY-12V-...item3379bb830b

and put it all together to get you the final pics.

The twist is that I easily and quickly programmed the Homelink garage door control buttons to turn on/off the LED bar. Clean install, no toggle switches inside. Cool, huh?

Man, you must've been reading my mind! Awesome! I had also thought about a wireless remote control, so I could turn on the accessory LED's from outside the truck....

I pressed and held the 3rd button until EVIC staid TRAIN, and then pressed and held the ON button on the wireless remote control. Did the same for 2nd button and the OFF button on remote. It's RF, so it works just like a garage door opener.

That's brilliant.

I can't get those stupid buttons to open my garage door, and yes, I've read the directions and everything on the internet.

Good job!

Looks really good and the switch set up even better. Been debating putting an LED bar on my Arb bumper. Think you may have convinced me to buy a new gadget and get my wife all fired up yelling at me lol

HA! I'll be doing the same thing, but instead yelling to get Nate to set it up for me!

I may have to push up my purchase sooner.

The link for the Hunter Grill Guard was in the post, but here's one with a more reasonable price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Bl...760490&vxp=mtr
