The new one came in yesterday and it works great.

Took the old one apart and the board has a lot of corrosion on it. The files to big to upload but it looks too far gone. Not worth the effort when I can just get another and program in less than a min.

Whats wrong with the ebay ones ... Are you saying cheap as in not expensive or cheap as in poor quality ?

I meant cheap price wise, their good keys/remotes for our vehicles. I've never seen one in bad shape off eBay for the modern Chryslers.

But they don't mention that they're usually an unlocked key with a new shell/blade/button pad. That doesn't really mean there's anything wrong with them though.

One of my distributors at work will charge me $107 for a Chrysler original brand new key/remote combo. MY COST! So it's a smart way for eBay retailers to make money by buying up keys/remotes from wrecked vehicles etc. and unlocking them.
