Thanks! I really like that it's powder coated in a color pretty much identical to the color of my paint I forget what aspen called it but it looks like the same black metallic as what's on the jeep just makes me that much happier and the fact that the grille is inset makes it look deeper and more aggressive, right before I started I had some doubts but now it's one of those things I love looking at

Well crap I finally decide to do the ball joints and I got the lowers instead of the uppers So I ordered some upper ball joints and the upper control arm bushings, I'm going to do the lower ball joints the upper ball joints the upper control arm bushings and the strut fork bushing then if It's going to be down for a week I'll just do it all. Anything else I should do if its sitting up on jackstands for a week? I was thinking of changing the diff fluid

Haven't done much to the jeep lately been too busy driving it!

V1 of my front skid plate I plan on using some thicker steel and bending it to fit and painting it black.

image-2802302898.jpg

And I ordered some tail light guards

I'm currently moving my shop right now so soon I hope to make some custom rock rails just need to go get some metal to tinker with, what thickness should I use for the rock guards?

Pita and the seal won't hold up forever but I like it
So I may end up just buying lights later on and doing it again
Anyways let me know what you think

Looks awesome! I have a black wk too and have been deciding between this and the lights that borabora has (that come black). I like the look of both. What exactly did you do?

I pulled apart the light and painted the bezel that's attached to the inside black.

Got my guards installed, I like them. I know they are not everyone's cup of tea and it doesn't need them but I think they add to the look I'm going for...

Look's good! What brand are the tail light guards? How much? I am considering picking up a pair but don't really feel like spending $160 on the Aries guards

Got them off ebay N-dure was the advertised name. I paid 77 shipped I wasn't about to pay the 120+ that most brands were priced at, which for what I got would have made me a little regretful but at half price i love them. IMO they should be less than 50 as they are so simple but that's alright.

The only problems I ran across were the brackets...
I had to bend the front tab to fit it closer to the body and it needs a lot of test fitting to get it where you want it.

Going to mess with them later and screw the front bracket on. They supply double sided tape which worked but screws would be much sturdier

I still need to paint the other headlight
I'd like to get some floor mats for the front as well
Then there's the front driveshaft. I have a u joint on the axle side which I think is bad causing vibrations and clicking. Trying to find out how to fix that

Do you have a link to the taillight guards?? I've been wanting a set but, like you, prefer not to spend $120+ for them.
