Just curious, why the Moogs over OEM for the balljoints?
Also, why a cabin air filter?
2009 GC Limited. 265 70 18 is the only change to date. Bought some Rubicon 17" wheels and put BFG M/T's on for hunting season OME HD Front, OME MD rear, winch to come, basket and lights bars first
Ya ball joints are k80629 and strut to control arm bushings are k200183
Cabin air filter is great even though I just use recirc if in a dusty or stinky environment but when I don't it works good for dust, they make a carbon filter that would be better for smells too but I didn't get it. filterheads.com has them cheap
As for why moog Idk how much oem is and I just got these on rockauto cheap
I was going to get adjustable ones but too expensive for my blood and I don't think I'm going any higher on the lift and alignment seems fine so I just went with good ole moogs cause everyone else is using a plastic socket inside and that won't last long and moog is still metal on metal I believe
Well... rotated my tires today fronts were getting a bit chopped on the edges and was quite surprised to see I already have 1inch hub centric spacers! Sweet! wasn't expecting that at all and it has new rear brakes and airbags (score!)
Still haven't done the ball joints or the muffler been driving too much as my other car needs tuned getting that done next week, then I can put some more time/energy into the jeep fabbing up the skid plate and tinting the windows a little bit and doing all the other things that it needs
Supposed to be here Wednesday so it will hopefully be in by next weekend! I had some issues deciding to buy or not but I went out to the garage and looked at the stock grille and while it looks okay there are too many lines in the stock insert and I bet I'll be the only wk in north Kc to have this grill!
