Check out a Magnaflow muffler. I've got one on my 4.7L and I love the sound.

Everyone is giving you good advice - swap out the stock muffler for the stainless steel large case Magnaflow. PM me if you'd like one - I have very good pricing.

about 90-100 for the muffler, depending where you go. if you have buddies, or you can put it in, then you save money putting it in. thats what im going to do.

Absolutely. I did this with my 5.7. The muffler is way shorter than the stock one so it requires a little extra pipe but it sounds great. Muffler shop charged me $38 total to cut that big stupid thing down and weld the magnaflow in place. Kolak will hook you up.

YouTube - 2007 4.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee Engine, Exhaust, Driveby

Does that help ya any?

All the Flowmasters I've heard on trucks are loud and obnoxious, and the drone was terrible. I drove in my friends truck with flowmasters and it was so bad that I had no trouble paying the extra $40 for a Magnaflow.
