Junk in the trunk...

So after building a shelf in the cargo area, and looking at how much "junk" I carry with me, I thought this would be an interesting topic. What do you carry with you on your rig?

Me:
Spare tire
Axe
Russian Military Shovel
Paramedic bag (wound dressings, gloves, IV stuff, some meds, sutures)
Bug out pack (matches, space blanket, bandaids, water, foldable water bag...)
Winch bag (tree saver, gloves, snatch block, pad, extra shackles)
Emergency car kit (Orange triangle, small 12v compressor, flashlight, slime)
Camping toilet paper
Fire Extinguisher
Windbreaker
High Viability Jacket (yellow w/ reflective stripes)
Blanket
Binoculars
Sharpie and paper pad
Small tool box (common size sockets, pliers, cutters, assorted screw drivers)
Camping towel
100' 550 paracord
...I think that is it...?

Cooler comes and goes. The ARB fridge will be added to a future Expedition Trailer Build.

That panel you have your spare sitting on can hold quite a few things under it. I fit my winch kit, winch snatch block, shovel, machete, tow rope plus some other stuff. First aid I keep behind the fold down seat for quick access. It's a good area for quick access items.

I tried the cooler in the camper trailer and it didn't work for us. (I have a jeep extreme trailer). Access to the cooler on long trips was better if it was in the jeep. I've had the ARB, it's good on electric, but bad on price. I had better luck with the Whynter FM-62DZ Dual Zone. It holds it value better. Most of the time we use a normal cooler with ice for anything under a 6 day trip.

I think that the m1101 trailer makes the best platform for a camper, I've seen a few really nice self built ones.

Even though you can use a credit card almost anywhere these days (parking meters, taxi cabs, tow trucks, gas pumps, etc etc etc) I still keep a roll of quarters and a dozen 20's wrapped in a ziplock baggie in my tool duffle. The sketchier the situation the handier a wad of good ol' greenbacks can be.

Lets see-
East. German Folding Shovel
Camp Axe
2x .30 Cal Cans ( for Tools )
.50 Cal Can ( Air Compressor, rags and Jack handle)
Patch Kit
Fire Extinguisher
Road Flares,
Spare Pen,
Flashlight
Medium Weight Jacket
12 Ton Jack
General Purpose First Aid Kit
Surgical Instrument Set, Minor Surgery
Small Trauma Kit
Jumper Cables
2x Ratcheting straps, (OH so useful)
Some Paracord
Sometimes Recovery Straps
5L Jerry can with donkey spout.
CB and Handheld Units.
Some Cash Tire Wrench

Will have Spare mounted once I Add rear body mounts and new springs (Sagging)
Will also add hardwired strobe system before the winter hits.

Its nice to have AAA, but self reliance goes a long way. Having the proper tools on hand also allows other to be helped, so I lug it all around.
