its possible to install a limited slip?

I have a 2005 WK 2wd and it doesnt have any traction control, limited slip or anything

I have got stuck a couple of times and i am interested on installing a locker/limited slip system to my Grand cherokee.

I called in the dealership and they told me that part doesnt come for my unit.

its this true? There's a way to convert add my rearend to have limited slip?

what options do i got

i will really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance

I don't know the specifics of your axle, but generally speaking yes you can add a limited slip. There are a variety of lockers/limited slips on the market to do what you want. there are certainly others, but the first limited slip only that comes to my mind is the detroit truetrac.

just be prepared to have it installed...which will end up being probably as much as the limited slip unit itself.

now if you want a lunchbox style locker, they are much cheaper and you can install it yourself.
