Ipod Connection Via DVD Player Audio
Does anyone know if I can purchase a cord that would go from my factory DVD Player Audio outlet to my ipod?

Yeah, it's possible. I've used it once or twice. The sound quality is fine, but I kept getting some weird pauses and errors from the iPod/VES sometimes during the process. It was more of a hassle for me than it was worth. Your mileage may vary.

It's just a simple headphone jack to RCA cable setup by the way:
![]() Apple probably makes something specific for the iPod if you want to spend the money. |

I'm going crazy. I finally bought the cord...its the one that has three plugs that goes into the VES system and connects to my ipod. It worked fine the first day. But today it wouldnt come on. Before I just plugged the three plugs into the VES system and my ipod and it worked fine. But today after unplugging, plugging 1000 times it would not work. Any ideas?

I can not find the VES AUX option. Where is it? And I also can not find the option of my ipod for video out. I have a 4th [I think it's the newest ipod] generation ipod nano.

Just wanted to updated this thread. After months of not really using my ipod, I finally found out this weekend that the volume on the ipod must be turned up high enough for the VES AUX to play it. Just posting incase any other person ran across the problem.

Fizzle - Same thing happened to me. Plugged it in and the first time it worked great. After that it was hit and miss. Gave up as it was to much of a hassle. No idea why they just did not make it interface with the Nav!
