Inmotion Tune Dyno Comparison...holy ****......

THIS ABSOLUTELY NEEDED ITS OWN THREAD............

The results are in............ and Gentlemen, Forget brabus, Forget, spider, forget all of them.... the INmotion tune is the ticket and the CHEAPEST......

Heres the Graph.................

THATS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
211whp/353wtrq OLD 267whp/425wtrq NEW
That is 56whp increase and 72 ftlbs of trq increase. I knew the truck was running faster.. I mean hell the butt dyno was telling me the truck was moving faster, i just didn't expect this much gain.... Hell i might get the truck in the high 14's in the 1/4.

Well i'm super happy with the tune and i highly recommend the tune to anyone considering speeding up their CRD.

That is awesome! Thanks justa4banger!!!! Looks like stock hp and tq are higher at lower speeds though...like at 65 mph...am I reading that right? if so, does that mean you dont get the added power until around 65-70mph and that it will be slower until higher speeds?

Did you do the ecotune or the stage 2? Did you happen to do a dyno with the box now that your rig is fixed? Well anyway...spider box for sale anyone?

I spoke to a guy at inmotion tuning today and he said that if you can get two people who want to buy the tune, but they have to use the same computer, he will drop of $40. Anyone in CO with the CRD interested?

The dyno is a little different due to the dyno operator hitting the button for the dyno to measure a little late. it still the power down low....I PROMISE!!!

On one run it measured a little less power but it also downshifted to 3rd since he didn't have the speed up high enough. remember even with autostick you can't LOCK it in any one gear...

This is the stage 2....

GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!

i should talk to James for a referal fee LOL ..... I do know on my computer James had to write my tune from scratch since it was the first time he saw a ecm with the coding my has...what this really means, i dunno, but either way the service was excellent.
HATS OFF to Inmotion

wow.

20% increase in hp/trq is pretty amazing for $400.

Great! I'm sold. Did you get the hand held programmer or just send your ECU in?

you RENT a tuner that he sends to you and then you send it back. you need to have a 2000.00 hold on your CC for the tuner.. once you send it back (within 48 hrs) you get 1950.00 back as it costs 50.00 to rent the tuner tool. So 400.00ish is the final price.

This is the easiest way to do it. I got mine in one day (overnight shipping)gathered the info per instructions, sent it ooff and the next morning i had the tune and loaded the computer.
i had to wait since he was real busy, but normal turn around time is a couple hours.....

he will tell you the hand held tuner is not really worth the added price.

Yes fuel economy is up. Not by much 1 mpg...so far i can tell.
but the fact that i didn't lose any mpg and gained so much more OOOMPPH is amazing.

hell i would be willing to pay a 2 mpg penilty for the added power, but luckily i didn't have too.

Wow. I'm in. I've been waiting for a comprehensive comparison between InMotion and the other tuner boxes you mentioned. Did you talk to him about EGR reduction? I've read that that is also a function of the tune.I figure after going thru the effort to clean CCV gases, limiting EGR is also a good preventative measure...

How is the throttle, is it really sensitive now? Hard to drive smoothly at low speeds in town, or off road?

Over 50 hp, that's nice!

Throttle sensitivity is better too. Still not real quick, but better.

This is the second vehicle I've had an InMotion tune on, and I can't say enough good about it. It basically gives you the engine as it should be, not as the EPA mandates it to be.

Eventually they will come out with a DPF elimination tune, and that's the one I want. It's supposed to be in testing, and will give you even more power, and better fuel economy.

Does anyone know why Inmotion does not like to communicate via email?

Throttle sensitivity is better, If i could adjust it i would make it MORE sensitive, but i like my cars touchy.

Lets put it like this.... My mother noticed the power increase and the better throttle response.... then she asked why couldn't jeep make it like this in the first place.....LOL
