How Many V-6 Owners have a Whistle

As I have been trying to get my V-6 whistle noise fixed. I have been coming across only V-6 owners with the same problem. The big question also is do you have the cross bars on top? If so make sure they are in the 1 & 4 position. Then check to see if you still have the noise. If so contact your dealer. I have five times. No luck on getting it fixed so far. Maybe a V6 defect.

Double check to make sure your cross bars aren't on backwards. The bars are labeled on top and are supposed to face a certain direction. Maybe the dealer mounted them backwards, the bars say which way is forward but maybe somebody made a mistake.

Yes I have even informed dealers about the cross bars. Their own sales staff don't know. Anyhow I have an attorney working with me to resolve my noise issue. Still like my Commander, just want the noise to stop. AHAHAHAHAHAH

A whistle from the Jeep or just a whistle?

The whistle sounds like it comes from the front windshield area. It does not do it every time. Notice it more with cross winds. I believe it is a high pitched vibration. All those mentioning cross bars I do not have them.

When I crack my passenger window a few inches I get a pretty loud whistle, but I have a hemi. Might just be the horrible aerodynamics of our square body.
