It definitely works, and yes you just have to turn it to the ON position on each turn. You can find the original post if you search on my username, but the procedure listed earlier is a complete cut & paste from my post from a few years back.

As some have said, it may take you 2-3 tries to get the timing right.

I find it interesting it is the law to wear a seatbelt in Indiana, but you do not have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle...

That's right. They figure that if you get in a wreck you are going to be dead anyway.

Cool. Had to do it re-buckle it 4 times before it worked.

I have to wonder, if you were in a wreck and the cops wrote in the accident report that you had your seat belt bypassed, if your insurance company would pay. I remember in the military seat belt use was mandatory on and off base (even before the states started enforcing the laws), and if you were in a wreck and were injured, and the cop mentioned you weren't wearing your seat belt, they would pursue disciplinary action against you.

The insurance company would still pay. In the military it's quite a bit different. As a private citizen, you are simply putting yourself at risk. If you're enlisted in the military, you aren't putting yourself at risk - you are putting US Government Property at risk, because they own your a$$.

Worked first time for me. I turned the key back to the Acc and not completely off.

That #4 should say
4. Turn the ignition switch back to the ACC position, turning off the engine. A single chime will sound to signify that your life is in your own hands.
