Hoax and Omelet Meet

So we met up today for some mild offroading. We both got quite a bit more pin-striping but neither of us struggled through anything we encountered, unlike his dad in his Unlimited Rubicon (He was just in the wrong gear...)

Pics!

Side by side

Departure angle comparison

Scenery

Action Shots

Good time for sure. I'm looking forward to Omelets pics.

They have been great so far.. on the Mojave I aired down to 20 psi just to smooth out the prerunner parts and make sure there would be no issue in the deep sand.

Ballinger Canyon in the Los Padres National Forest. No plans made, but we talked about Gorman (Hungry Valley OHV Area).. He's down in SD and hit dad lives up north of me in Santa Maria so it just worked out this weekend.

Nice pix Hoaxci5! It was interesting to see that our roof line was almost the same. The difference in interior room is quite noticeable. It was definitely a good time! The hill in the pic was really the only difficult part because it was steep and loose. Other than that it was just tight winding trails. The only maneuvering we had to do was more to keep the branches off the Jeeps than anything. Not too challenging. Next time we will have to find some better trails! The other place where my dad and I usually go was closed. Gorman sounds promising! Anyone in the area will be more than welcome to join. I don't know when I will be able to get some pix up, because I used my camera this time and my computer is currently down. Maybe I can jump on my dad's before I leave!

Thanks again Hoaxci5!!!

You think Maryland is better? Have you ever been out west? I grew up in MI, and spent a lot of time travelling.. I don't plan to ever live east of the Mississippi again.
