I can try it but I would have to buy a whole strip just for three LEDs. I might just leave the blue because I need to get rid of it

There room in there (roughly the thickness of a sheet or paper) to toss a lighting gel between the faceplate and the LED strip?

Easy, cheap, and damn near infinite color possibilities if there's room.

Thin sheets of colored plastic. The two big brands are Rosco and Lee, and pretty much any city with a bunch of churches, theaters, or photo studios will have several stores that stock them.

Back before LEDs it's how most automakers got the green dash lights in cars, too. Green gel on the backside of the controls, regular old white bulb to light it up.

Ok well I'm going with blue. I scuffed up the underside of the acrylic to give it a cloudy look now I'm about ready to install it.
