I have a 2005 WK with the 5.7L. My oil pan gasket is starting to leak around the rear. To replace the gasket, the service manual says to suspend the engine, remove the engine mounts, and remove the front axle. I'm hoping to put all of that off for a while yet, and will start with snugging up the bolts.
When the inevitable happens... are there any shortcuts to the job of replacing the gasket, or is it really as involved as the manual says?
Thanks-
Mat
