help me before I shoot it!

Any help and advice would be much appreciated. I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0l with some issues. To start with it had the famous stalling and rough idle, driveway cut outs (you know the drill). Till finally it quit. Had fuel, had spark, had everything. Cranks and tries it best but wouldn't turn over. Ok. So tested camshaft sensors, throttle position sensor, ignition coil packs (rail), I still had spark and fuel. But just in case did a fuel test. So last night I read about the pcm/ecu getting grounded out or the other famous soldering fix. Ecu was fine, reinstalled. Now today no spark. No fuel.. I'm at a total loss of what to do now.

True, I did check and clean the AIC before this new stuff. Replaced all sensors and cleaned contacts. Tested with multimeter as well. I'm really going crazy here. I have chased every possible Avenue that could be. Till I wound up with no spark and no fuel. Just checked the Relays as well. Possible the pcm fried out?

Yea is go IAC, it's a culprit for rough idle. Is remove your throttle body, take all the sensors off and hit yen throttle body with one cleaner and hit the IAC with some too.

May be dumb, but how's your battery?

Oh never a dumb suggestion! I have been continuously checking the battery. I even checked fuses and relays... just on the off chance that something ridiculous would slip pass me. But see after reinstalling my pcu.. guess what. No gages. Wriggled around everything, double checked connections.. still no gages! What have I done?

Btw I forgotten to mention I even replaced the IAC after it was cleaned... just in case it was a failure.

You said you had the camshaft sensor changed? How about the crankshaft sensor. I had the same problem with my WK> It fixed the problem.

Good luck!!

Yup. Checked grounds.. checked for resistance and ohms in all wires and connections. Figured I had a pinched or damaged wire some where. All cam out good. New spark plugs and was getting spark and fuel till I pulled the pcm out and re installed. Checked all grounds today and put new crank shaft sensor again for the second time, now no fuel... no spark and no gages

In these forums there is a thread about the yellow wire on the starter. When it comes loose or corroded. the Jeep will not start..
