I don't have a lift so i can only answer part of your question. Off-roading is not the only blame for tire rub. When your driving down the street and turn, tires may rub the wheel well. If you have to go over large speed bumps there's a slight chance. Just keep in mind there are alot of factors that could play into the tires rubbing the wheel well. Not just offroading

Yes, it is possible. You will want to address your p/w's up front for sure and possibly the rear fender roll.

why do you need 13.5" wide tireS?

for that size tire... pinch welds front and rear, wheel spacers and i would look at a 4" lift.. something narrower, id keep it around 3"

No wheel spacers.... you can't run 13.5" wide tires safely on stock wheels. OP will need at least 9" wide wheels for that tire.... most 9" wide wheels have 4.5" backspace which would cause major rubbing issues even with 31x10.5 tires.... and don't even think about a 10" wide wheel.

Conclusion:
33x13.5 = No, not without 4" lift + trimming.

For reference, 285/70/17 = 32.7x11.2 ..... look up the work that's been done to fit those tires on WKs.

2" wheel spacers and stock wheels?

265/70/17
.... or 285/70/17 with some extra work. I don't remember who all is running that setup but I'm sure a few guys here will post links for you.

so let me ask the OP what lift are you running right now? honestly with a 285 i would run at minimum a 1" wheel spacer... it will kepe them flush with your fenders

personally i love the look of 33s and the 2" lift.. ill be going that route soon.
