Perhaps the factory plastic skid plate? if you looking to replace it, its not needed, but I would look into The Steel Armadillo front skid, or picking up a used steel factory skid

Yeah, the plastic piece only really keeps dirt/water/leaves out of the area around the front differential. It's not completely necessary, but if you were thinking about running some armor, nows the time to upgrade! Think of it as a justified purchase.
I know The Steel Armadillo and 4xGuard both offer nice front skid plates.

From my understanding, they are both pretty good skid plates.
The Steel Armadillo skid plate looks like it has coverage that is similar to the plastic cover.
(Mostly bottom to protect the front diff)

The 4xGuard looks like it covers some of the front and not as much as the bottom.

I would assume that they both cover exactly what they are supposed to cover.
I personally like the looks of the 4xGuard more.

The 4xguard is designed to work with the factory steel skid, The Steel Armadillo is designed to replace the factory skid, and covers where the 4xguard one would go.
