Heavy Duty Ball Joint

I have read and/or been told by several people that any of the 2" BB kits will put significantly more wear and tear on your ball joints because of the change in angle caused by the lift. So I have 2 questions:

Have any of you with a 2"-3" lift had problems with premature ball joint failure?

Does anyone make any kind of heavy duty ball joint?

Thanks!

Just found some adjustable ball joints on the Rocky Road site. Anyone have these. Do I really need them, or should I just wait until the stock ones fail to replace them?

Don't buy that junk! with 2'' you will not have any problems, i wheel my jeep hard and never had a problem with my 2.25'' lift. now that i have 4.5'' i had no choice but to upgrade to a chromoly UCA with a spherical ball joint and a grade 8 pin found on GetLost4x4.com

I second Carlos testimony on the HD upper control arm assemblies from GetLost.4X4...more pricey but you've got to pay to play my friend!

Go to www.getlost4x4.com. Ross is a Jeep Commander forum and is having these types of ball joints made for WK & XK owners to replace the OEM ones. I'm running them with my 2" lift and they're so much better than stock. They're really great with the 4" Superlift and help increase the articulation.

Do you have any squeaking or any other noises coming form them?

These UCA's are not made by Getlost, they are made by Camburg engineering and are sold threw Getlost only.
