Did you have stock rims? I'm about to order a set of 265/70/17 and don't want to find out I need spacers. I found them on DiscountTireDirect.com for $157 a tire with free shipping and thinking on pulling the trigger.
You need spacers with stock rims. I have aftermarket rims with a -6 offset and my tires rub at full lock with the 265/70r17 Hankook Dynapro's

2005 WK - 6" lift, 35" BFG's, a lot more (SOLD)
I just bought a set from Discount Tire. I had the stock tires on previously and it was time to get new one with better grip but not too expensive. So far I've only been able to compare them in the rain and they are 10x better on wet pavement, no traction issues at all. Should be able to get a feel for snow later this week if the weatherman is correct. Mine are 237/75/16 on stock rims...slowly but sure building up the Jeep.
Had them since new on my 2010 WK Limited, and they're fantastic on road, off, in the rain and importantly for me, in the snow- a perfect tire for Colorado. The newest ones now meet required snow performance standards, and have the "snowflake in the mountain" symbol. Currently running a brand new set of 265/70/17's on Ultra 17x8 Spline CUV wheels with a 2" OME lift. These wheels have a 35mm offset, so they clear the pinch weld and my JBA UCA's without mods or spacers.
