Grrrreat......

Went to top up my tires with air in my lunch break which should have been a simple task until the end of the valve came off with the valve cap.....

thats no bueno. Do you have the TPMS sensors?

Yup! I guess this is a problem when you rely in the sensors and therefore don't remove the caps to check the pressures!

ouch! i had to pay 90 bucks to replace one of mine.

Its a problem with the caps being screwed on too tight, combined with a bad design, using metal valve stems that easily corrode. Over 5 yrs of owning my WK, I've had to replace all 5 sensors. The stems crack and eventually won't hold air. Its an unbelieveably bad design. Fortunately they now make sensors with rubber stems.
