they have had these for a very long time, my dad used to run them on his f-150. didnt last but were good off-road to his standards.

Not new. They are an OK tire....nothing outstanding, but OK for a road tire.

Had them as upgrade factory options on previous GC's. The WK came with Goodyear Fortera XL's.

Got ~44K miles on the Wrangler AT/S tires before they became "slippery" on wet roads/snow.

Look around. For same $$, you can do better.

Check out Cooper AT3s they were 165 a tire installed at a local shop here for 265/70s. I ended up finding some used STTs but will probably get AT3s or Duratracs next

Thanks guys for your opinions. I'm going to the tire shop tomorrow to compare a few and I was actually considering the coop at3s just hadn't seen the price yet. If they are as low as you say here then I'll probably be sold! Thanks again.
