funny thing I'm just running 245 70 17's and my odometer is on the other side of inaccurate, I'd say 75 metres short of a km. When I switch to 265 70 size I'm waiting a while before re-calibrating the odo/speedo. My odo is just under 80k but probably 10k less than that in reality.

Anyone else have glow plug problems after the GDE tune, less than a week after i installed mine i lost the #5 glow plug. Didn't really think twice about it , but my dad got the GDE tune for his a few weeks back and he got the #5 glowplug code today. Possible the glow plugs died, YES, possible it has something to do with the tune YES.

My speedo is off 3 miles at 70. I adjust when I do my math

08 CRD elephant mode, kidney empty. GDE eco tune, DPF gutted, 20' SRTs 265 and 295 stock height, SRT front bumper

No Problems with mine. I've had the tune for over a year and I took a very long trip immediately after installing it....like 5,000 miles....pulling trailer too.

I have 245/70-17 on mine, speedo is dead nuts accurate, was off by 3 mph with stock sized tires. The odometer is now off a few, havn't logged a trip off GPS to find out how far it is. Don't really care, im putting less miles on it with the tires.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I assume there is a way to change the speedometer calibration to compensate for bigger tires?

yea a dealer starscan...i dont think there are any tuners for the diesel that can change for tire size...not 100% sure tho

2008 CRD // GDE Eco // DPF delete // 3" intercooler // OME HD // 265 dirtytracs etc.

Dealer Starscan can do some sizes, but has has its limits.
My dealer tried to update speedo for 265/70/17 but couldn't.

Yeah I heard the Starscan can only do a few tire sizes. I believe the AEV EGR module (from the Superlift) can adjust tire sizes for all WKs.

Correct, along with hypertech etc. Just getting hard to find an AEV EGR now....
