I initially thought I wanted to keep my dpf intact for the same reason as jaje, now I just don't care anymore. I'm going to take that thing off this weekend and I don't have any extra gaskets or anything lying around. I will take pictures.
I have the dpf delete eco tune, I think I will go ahead and install the tune and drive around town before I gut the dpf.

My wife is going to freak out when she sees it on jack stands again.

So do you have to cut it out or does it just bolt off? I've never looked that close at it...

GDE is planning a bolt in section. And I'm the same way I waiting so I can do it right, not willing to gut my oem that has nothing wrong with it.

I do make a dpf delete pipe. You can see pictures in my performance mod thread. It just bolts in place of the factory dpf pipe. It comes with hardware and hanger. If you can get the big dpf filter out this is a piece of cake to get back in. This way you can save your expensive dpf filter.

I do have more DPF pipes if anyone is interested. I have replied to the PM's, but I would be willing to give a discount for a group buy. The sprinter pipe is not even close. I wish it was that simple.

Question for tnadanzig:

What about the option of steel tubing instead ss? I for one don't need ss or the added expense.

The rest of your exhaust system is stainless steel. If you use something different, the corrosion at the joints will be faster than normal and may just rust from the inside out.

It's usually around 20 in the states and 30 or up to Canada. I can ship via any any of the common carriers.

Check PM. I can make either, but I prefer SS due to issues GDE stated.
