Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge TN-Green Lanes

Hey, I was "trolling" around on a UK LR3 forum and the guys there were talking about Green Lanes, which I assume has to do with more of a dirt trail than asphalt/concrete. I was wondering, since my WK is still stock with the training tires on it (235s) and no skid plates if anyone had any suggestions about Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, TN. I will be taking a trip up there in a month and wouldn't mind ditching the cabin for a couple of hours and really enjoying the mountains. Please remember that I have no idea where I am up there so directions would definitely help.

Thanks!

I had a load of fun in an unmoddified Vauxhall Frontera on the Warwickshire green-lanes.
Basically, they are just dirt and grass (hence green), and are sometimes printer on some roadmaps for reference.
Join a local 4x4 club and they will have loads of suggestions for you.
but be warned Landrover guys can be really snobby. (especially when you have to pull them out of a ditch in a regular jeep..lol
