Frustrated...

How heck can I remove those 12v housing on panel??? It looks so simple but... NOPE. Wanted to wrap the vinyl...

Never took one out of a cherokee, but any 12v outlet I've worked on had the housing threaded and a nut that tightened it down from the back of the panel. Look up that part online and find a pic showing what it looks like not installed or even get an exploded view from a manual.

Also look for the thread for installing the RER head unit. There are great pics in there that show dash disassembly.

There a pita all I can say is a really small flat head screw driver and patience. There one notch for one of the nipples on it the Other you have to pry out
