Front Fascia

I tried to search to no avail and could not find any info. My front fascia "unclips" The fascia has what looks like tabs that insert and just clip in. I can easily gently lift on the fascia and push the clips in but once I drive it they pop out again. Is there something I am missing? Thanks ahead for any help.

Once you push the clips in, they should turn 90 degrees to lock.
Unless I'm misunderstanding your question?

@CRCs I was going to say the same thing as you.

Gotta turn them clockwise, mate. If it's not the air dam, you could take a couple pictures to illustrate your problem a little better.

Ok will have to take pictures there is not a clip that can turn, just almost like a cereal box top push in clip that is part of the mold on the fascia if that makes any sense.

Drill a hole and use little black push pins. You can get them at Napa and they're removable

There is no way of accessing where these clips push in. I should have taken pictures but figured this might be a common problem. I guess not.

Yes, its common, I see it all the time. right below the tab drill a small hole through the facia and the plastic behind it . then insert the corresponding size push pin in to the hole. Push in the center and it will lock it like a rivet. The push pins will match the black color of the facia. Which is actually an air dam

Try removing the lower air-dam (7 1/4-turn fasteners, it's covered in the manual) and checking for debris or other damage causing it to pop out.

Simply removing it and re-installing it with those snaps first may be enough to get it seated properly.

Ok I will try to remove it. Also they do not appear to be broken.
