i was able to fit 255/70/18 onto my stock WK
very minor rubbing on the drivers side thats it

Hey guys, new to the forum. I was wondering what the difference is between the Quadra Trac and both the Quadra drive I and Quadra drive II, and also which systems are offererd on the 5.7 hemi models and which one would be best for the hemi models. Or if there is a thread I didnt see, maybe pointing me into the right direction, i couldnt find one. Much appreciated and I love this site, Some AMAZING looking WK's on here!

Jeep's main website explains your answers (under 4wd systems). QDII is the best, as it has electronic locking differentials on both front and rear. It's the same as having full lockers, like on a Wrangler Rubicon, but it all happens electronically. Watch the YouTube videos of the WK's climbing in Moab with QDII and you'll see how fantastic the system is.

I was considering installing the Rough Country 2" lift but I read someones post that after they installed it they a check engine light and their vehicle wouldnt start. I was wondering if you had any problems with yours?

installing a lift would have no affect on the engine whatsoever. unless they forgot to reinstall a sensor or something, theres no way the lift caused that light. I have the RC lift and am putting it on this weekend. was very impressed with the speedy delivery and customer service. ull see a large amount of people on here have the RC lift and have had zero problems so i say go for it, u wont be dissapointed.

I have a question. Probably a stupid one, and has probably already been asked/answered, but oh well. Also, I do not have a WK but I MAY BE getting my moms '05 next year. Anyway, what exactly is the pinch weld mod? Thanks

You have to take the fender liners off and bang the pinchweld flat to the body and you can fit bigger tires

I understand that, but I don't exactly know what the pinch weld looks like... I feel really stupid asking this...

Take the driver fender off look to the right and youll see it sticking out like a sore thumb. Ots right where the fender liner sticks out
