Since my 05 WK doesn't have a tape player, or an aux-in hookup, i need to get an fm transmitter to listen to music off of my iphone. Anyone have any suggestions? i want quality!

iSimple (Peripheral) ISCH73

Great sound, charges it (big fan of less wires in console), retains some steering wheel controls.

wired is waaaaaay better. we have a monster FM modulator for the wife's MDX. SQ is not great, transmission strength is pretty tepid, and the plug monster uses looks great but won't stay plugged in. $40 waste.

x2 on the Isimple. Less clutter with the wires and it charges at the same time.

I'm going with the Kenwood KOS-A300 and installing it today. It'll plug right up to the VES system and have a screen and control knob mounted on the dash. I'll upload pics and a quick review once I've had the weekend with it!

I have the iSimple ISCH73 as well and it sounds great. A little flaky to hook up with the VES on my REC head unit, but it's in there and working/sounding great.

I got a cord like that. It worked for 2 days, and now it can't seem to pick up my ipod! My basic understanding of the "mode" button is that it only switches from mode to mode when it picks up another imput. I have cd's in right now, so it stays on cd mode. the other day, when i used my 3.5 to stereo cable, it picked that up, and i could switch to "aux" mode. Now it won't pick up my ipod! any help?!
