Ok.....while we wait for our new lamps, time for a few questions...
did you guys read the original posters comments on the SRT8 board?
he/she said the were "more or less plug and play". I am still curious as to how the signal lamps are going to "magically" work properly as they wrote.
Also, are the rear lamps easy to remove/reinstall? I didn't see anything about the proceedure at WKJeeps.

the tails are an easy remove, there are 2 plastic rivet things, I use a very small flat screwdriver to pry up the center pin of the rivets, remove that, then remove the other piece it just pulls out. then the light will be loose, you need to give it a pull to the rear. it is held in with like small ball/socket kind of thing. it just pulls out
about the lights, we may have to source an 06 plug, scott has on 06 so he is kool. us later ones, 07+, may need to do some ciphering.

I have an 05, so hopefully the plugs match. I was more concerned with the wiring.
The poster on the SRT8 board was being very tight lipped about the exact mods required.
I know on the later WKs the brake was also the turn bulb, vs. the earlier ones had separate brake and turn bulbs.

Hi
You are all more then welcome sorry can’t help with the wiring. Guess I should have put them on e-bay myself and made a bit going by the earlier post lol.
Hope it all works out for you all.
Regards,
Merlin

David, You should be fine. You have 3 bulbs, the import has 3 bulbs. I will send a PM to SheriSRT8 and ask if anything needs to be done. In my mind, you are going to be fine.
Its me with the 2007 that is going to have to jump thru hoops. I only have 2 bulbs to start with. My idea for me is that I have spare bulb plugs. So if i need to hack anything, I will do that after the factory harness by connecting a plug to the factory harness, then wiring directly to the lamp.

OMG! I figured it out. (I think)
Our US versions use a 3157 bulb for the middle tail and turn.
The export version must use a 3156A for the middle bulb!
The 3157 is a double filament bulb. The 3156 is a single filament. A 3156A is the amber version!
That is why when you plug in the amber 3156A the tail light magically doesn't work as SheriSRT8 wrote!

Yeah David, that's what they've been trying to tell ya. No wiring differences, it's all in the bulbs!
Anyway... someone hurry up on an '07-'10! Please? lol
