E-Brake/Navigation knob/3rd row seats in 2006 Commander

Hi Everyone!
See my couple of questions below!

I just purchased a 2006 Jeep Commander and the E-Brake doesn't seem to work. The lever pulls and i hear it crank, but when you let the brake go, it doesn't really hold the car. Is there anyway to tighten the e-brake?

This Jeep also came with a Navigation system build in and the horribly designed knob does not work very well. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or will the whole unit need replaced?

One final question: The 3rd row of seats in my Commander won't go down. The levers on the rear post are broken. How am I supposed to get them down? Is there an easy way to do it?

Thanks everyone!
