A simple resistor would not be possible on the DPF pressure sensor. The ECM looks for a range of values and you would need to create a circuit board to simulate those values. Also, the vehicle would probably go into regen every 1000 miles or so because the stock software requires a regen after so many miles even is the DPF isn't plugged. In diagnostic software you can pull up miles since last regen and it will tell you. With DPF delete tuning it just list zero because the maps have been modified to eliminate that function. Unfortunately the only way is through tuning.
