Double Din radio in a XK anyone? Any success?

Im not exactly "thrilled" with my facory nav in my LTD XK, I honestly rather have a Pioneer unit. I took a quick look on crutchfield and it said "modified fit" for all the double din radios..

So I was wondering if anyone has done this, what was involved, and what is needed?

Thanks in advance.

I just did in my 07 WK. No real issues with fitment. I ordered from Crutchfield, used the included mounting kit, and used the PAC wiring harness that retained the steering wheel controls, and used the antenna adapter. No issues, install looks good, I'm happy with it.
