DIY Front Skidplate

I am interested in making my own front skid plate, similar to a 4xguard front skid. I don't really have the cash to spend on their skidplate right now, but I am planning on buying the mounts for them and making my own skidplate out of plate steel. To do this I would need the measurements for one of their skid plates, and I was hoping someone could give me some measurements and pictures showing how they are assembled.

I can grab some measurements when i get back home in a few days. I was going to fo the same thing. Buy the mounts then have a friend fab something up. I would suggest you get the mounts then mount them up and fabricate from the dimensions of the installed mounts.

I ended up finding a used front skid for sale on the commander forum. It was a bit rusty so i bedlinedit black.
