Quad Trac I No limited slip... Fluid Change Questions??

Finally Just got my Lift, Struts-Shocks, Tires, ball Joints, Tie Rods, etc done... Im cashed out and need to change my fluids in the diff's and Transfer Case.

Questions are 1. Have 3qt left of ATF+4 from Tranny Flush will this be a Sufficient amount for Transfer Case???

2. I have Quad Trac I Open Diff's What other Gear oil can I put in besides 75w-140 Dont have the cash atm for that specific fluid and my Diff's are starting to whin can I do 85w-90 or 85w-140 maybe 75w-90???

Google advance auto parts coupons. You'll probably find like a $40 off coupon and you can buy the gear lube online and pick up in store.

2nd that. I picked up 4qt of Mobil1 75w-140 for $58 with tax just this week.

I think the online code I used was A124, took $25 off.

You only need one quart of ATF for transfer case. So you will be good on that.

85w140 is only a little thicker then factory spec at startup , but you or the vehicle probably couldn't tell the difference so between the 3 it's the best choice . Seeing as you have the v6 and if your not planning on towing anything you could get away with the 85/75w90 too IMO
As said , your transfer case only holds 0.65L / 1.4pts

Man I can buy 10qts of the good gear oil for $58,that would be 85w-140 non-syn.

I use 75-90. It was spec for Chysler 8.25 in the past. Differentials haven't changed much I think. Maybe not as good for towing.

I ended up getting 75w-90 mechanic at Chrysler said it will be fine since I don't have locking front and rear diffs and I dont tow... Anyhow thanks for the tip on the coupon guys got 4qts for 29bucks of Mobil1!!
