Dealer Chargin me $69 to Reset Steering Angle Sensor

The title explains this.

69 dollars to reset the steering angle sensor after an alignment.

My understanding is that you can re-calibrate this sensor by turning the wheel all the way to Right lock, and then back to left lock.

And presto. Angle sensor reset!

Any input, so i can argue the price on this.
