I got the tape off after a few minutes on each side, so no worries.

Finished product! Waiting on passenger side to dry.

Nice build. I sort of like the sides, but I'm not 100% sold on them. It just makes it look.....unfinished. IDK. If I were to do that, I'd probably put some nerf bars under there or something. But that's just me! I am definitely considering removing my front valance and putting either a skidplate or tube bumper there.

I have rock sliders on my "things to buy" list, just not happening at this moment.

Initially when I went to install the tow hooks, I intended on using the set of holes on the right. Once I examined the holes, I realized they were not reachable from the back without removing the front bumper completely, so I decided against using them and moved to the hole just to the inside. These holes were practically self tapping, and the nuts held on behind. Only downsides were that I couldn't fit the air tools into the space, and there is no hole to the rear for mounting. Instead, I just out the second set of screws in and I'm relying on them to prevent and turning, if that ever happens.

*WOULD NOT RECOMMEND*

So a few things have happened this week:

1. Fog lights installed. Currently to a round switch, I will be making the change to rectangular eventually.

2. Bluetooth radio installed. The stock radio had a weird aux cord input, and no cord would last longer than a couple of months. Steering wheel controls were maintained.

3. Low profile roof rack mount.
I flipped the rola mounts upside down and used 12-24 x 2" screws and a washer to mount the cross bars to the roof bars. Much better profile, easy to do.

4. Expanded sheet metal grill mod.
Currently in progress, using 2 12"x24" sheets and 18 1/4in-20 2" screws and nuts (3 for each of the 6 pillars). Bedliner is drying in the sheets now, and the grill is about to come off for mods. Nuts require a 7/16 wrench.

Grill cut, and holes drilled. *1 1/4" screws are too short* My brother is on a run and is grabbing 18x 2" screws and lock nuts for me, and they should be just the right fit.

Looks great! But when you put the new head unit in, was Uconnect rendered useless or did it integrate with the new unit?
