Performed the resistor mod today using a 0.5W 4.7K ohm resistor from Radio Shack. It worked.

Thanks wookiee for this picture.

I had an issue diagnosing this due to DPF deleted firmware. I wrote about it in the DPF delete thread.

Your orange seal has been leaking for while, looks like quite a mess. How many miles on your jeep?

97.5k miles. Never bothered to check if the intake had been upgraded, figured it would be since the swirl motor hadn't been replaced by the PO. Mine lasted a while longer than others before giving out it seems.

Won't bother fixing the swirl motor if the resistor mod holds up. Updated intake w/black seal is in the mail.

Not yet, I think we are still tracking down the correct plug, I don't think they will be very expensive.

Look up Shibby Engineering: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shibby...03953032958500

He makes a full DPF delete for the 6.7L Cummins for about $100 and that's three or four plugs.

Shoot him a message on FB and tell him Bryant sent you, maybe that will put a little hurry up on the project if he sees the interest.

Ref EGR,
I think it can be acheived ... The 300crd guys reported no check engine light but a fault code only and engine is runing fine. This might be a track for something here ... Unless I miss understood...

Put me down for one as well as I'd like a simple plug in type connection. I'm wondering if we can get a block off plate and remove the swirl motor altogether...

You can do a complete removal, in fact someone on here ran a batch of block off plugs but have since sold out and didn't plan on making more. Maybe that person would be willing to share drawings of the plug.
